Juggernaut Studios is an independent film and television studio based in Los Angeles, founded by actor, writer, director, and producer Eliyas Qureshi. We develop and produce original stories across film, series, and animation. Psychological thrillers. Crime dramas. Comedy, Family stories. Myth and large-scale world-building.
Our philosophy
For most of its history, Hollywood decided whose stories reached the big screen. A lot of people never made the list.
Juggernaut exists for the ones who didn't. The heroes who usually get cast as the sidekick. The cultures that show up as backdrop instead of the main event. The families, the women, the whole worlds that the industry has overlooked, flattened, or left off the screen entirely.
We don't do this to check a box. We do it because these are some of the richest and least-seen stories in the world, and because the people living them deserve to be at the center of the frame, not the edge of it.
The aim has always been the same. Take the story that was never told, or told badly, or pushed to the margins, and put it where it belonged all along. At the center of the screen.
These are the stories that were always worth telling. We are simply the ones telling them. Or at least trying to.
PEOPLE BEHIND THE STORIES
Eliyas Qureshi is a Los Angeles-based writer, director, producer, and actor with more than two decades of experience across Hollywood and international productions.
He has written, produced, and directed the short films From Within, Radha, Muniya, and Unannounced, and the feature films Three, Spirit of Mumbai, and Killer Punjabi. As an actor, he has appeared in major studio films and acclaimed television, including Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, The Dictator, and Wanted, and series such as Welcome to Chippendales, Grey's Anatomy, Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Good Wife, and 30 Rock. Two decades spent on sets and soundstages, watching films and series take shape from the inside, are what shaped the filmmaker and studio head he is today.
As a producer and director, he has brought independent films and shorts to the screen and built a slate that spans psychological thrillers, crime series, drama, and animation. Through Juggernaut Studios, he builds original stories that don't stay in one country or one language. The craft is Hollywood. The instinct is his own.
